Hosea 3:2-3

Read Hosea Chapters 1-3 then read this verse again. Why would Hosea buy her back? He actually paid a price for her when she went off and was prostituting herself off to other men. This is the picture of us with God. He bought us back even while we were prostituting ourselves off to other gods, and even after he saved us we still continue to do that.

Bring your bibles and journals this Wednesday and we will talk about this more.

Pure Joy

Today when I led for Jr High I had probably the best worship experience ever. The room held probably 150 people where about 75% were praising the Lord for his mercy and grace in our lives. And as we were singing Unashamed, I looked in the crowd and there was this small boy who had his eyes closed singing to the Lord, "Here I am, at your feet, in my brokeness complete." He had so much conviction on his face where he seemed to get this song, that he was washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord. I need no other affirmation that God is good and that this ministry is worth dedicating my life to. Making known the power of Jesus Christ and His ressurrection so that young men and women can understand more intimately the power of the resurrected Christ. I Love the Lord for his everlasting greatness. I want to make known his kingdom. I want him to be glorified in my life so that others will glory in Him as well. To God the father and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior be all glory forever and ever Amen.

Have you ever realized that God created the world through His word? He only spoke and creation came to life and began living. This is amazing!!!!! God created by only His word! By his word all that you and I know were created. And then the scriptures are called "His word" or "The word of God." Is that not incredible that we have the word of God? We have to power of Gods word in our hands, at our fingertips, erady for us to wield and use! That is amazing and so pwerful.
